SesameSesame Database Manager Professional
Certainly, one of my favorite software products is the Sesame Database Manager, published by Lantica Software. It is the framework that I begin with when creating custom database systems. Sesame is a very powerful, lightweight, database framework that can be used for any database project.

 

Q&AQ&A
A dual purpose software product published by Symantec (until 1995), which included a database and a word processor in one package. This product hasn't been in publication for many years, but is still in use by many businesses (who really should be converting to Sesame by now). It was the inspiration for the Sesame Database Manager, which was modeled after the power and ease-of-use of Q&A, but Lantica made Sesame vastly more powerful. Translating Q&A databases into modern Sesame database applications is one of my specialties.
