CDU Computer Consulting is owned and operated by Carl Underwood. I'm located in New Hampshire, but I have clients from many parts of the country (more info about that below). Since I normally work alone, your sensitive data is only accessible to one person — myself, which limits your exposure. Many large computer support companies have a team of people that all have access to your computers, increasing your exposure. (I know I'd be more comfortable with as few people having access to my computers as possible.) Essentially, "the buck stops here" and if you have any questions or concerns, you won't be bounced around to multiple people. I'll personally be the one that works with you to answer your question or get the issue resolved.

Remote Access
I'm located in central New Hampshire. Naturally, I have clients within driving distance, but I also have clients all over the United States and Canada. By using remote access software, I'm able to remotely interact with a computer and work on it just as if I were sitting in front of it, allowing me to provide remote support for most issues.

The two primary benefits of remote access is:

  1. I can provide a quicker response time than if I were just across town form you, no matter where you are.
  2. I can work on non-emergency issues after normal business hours, so that I don't interfere with your workday, minimizing your down-time. I've been doing most of my support this way for years, and it has worked out quite well for my clients and myself.
